L’interview bien-être de Fabienne Crocq

Fabienne Crocq's well-being interview

From an early age, Fabienne Crocq quickly developed a passion for everything related to the notion of well-being, especially that which one feels through the skin, by means of gestures as elaborate as they are beneficial. . Today a certified naturopath and international wellness expert , she provides her art to major cosmetic brands but also to hundreds of women around the world. On the occasion of the launch of the new anti-aging range Cactéa de marocMaroc, for which she imagined the different treatment protocols, she engages in the exercise of the well-being interview.

Interview by Éléonore A. Bénit, journalist and influencer

How do you become a “wellness lifestyle” expert?

I started my career in England, then I was an international trainer for many spas, hotel groups and beauty brands as well. Very quickly, I learned to build sequences of massages with cosmetic products, like a production, like in the theatre. Today, I continue to exercise my passion by training teams, designing treatment rituals and also supporting women with hormonal disorders as a “well-aged naturopath” .

What does the profession of well-age naturopath consist of?

My mission is to help women on a daily basis going through hormonal upheavals, especially as they approach their forties. Nutrition, stress and emotional management, physical activity and self-massage are the four essential pillars to help them approach the period of pre-menopause and menopause. I offer online consultations and global vitality assessments so that they can establish new wellness rituals in their daily lives, and thus live more harmoniously, with serenity and lightness.

You accompany marocMaroc in the development of its treatment protocols. What inspires you about the brand's universe?

At the same time the journey, the authenticity, the purity, a deep well-being too, and then the idea of a radiant skin. marocMaroc is a brand whose quality of ingredients, silky textures and divine smells transport us outside of home.

And Morocco?

I have a great affinity with the Moroccan people, who are undoubtedly in absolute benevolence and have a sense of service but also of unequaled hospitality. I also like the culture of the hammam, this place where women of all generations meet to share a moment of well-being and purification. I'm going to tell you a secret, in my opinion, the best masseuses are Moroccan… (laughs) .

What are the different facial care protocols that you have imagined for the new Cactéa anti-aging range from marocMaroc?

They are three in number. The first, called Soin Universel, is a unique ceremonial that allows the epidermis of the face to gain in firmness, in particular thanks to a succession of acupressure manoeuvres. In 75 minutes, the features of the face are rested and the radiance of the complexion revealed. As a bonus, we plunge into a deep relaxation of body and mind. As it is practiced with all the products in the range, we have decided to make it the Cactéa signature treatment. The second, the Revitalizing Anti-Aging, is more like a sculpting facial gym with the aim of smoothing out the tissues. In practice, the muscles are twisted in all directions in order to strengthen them as much as possible. Thanks to this sequence of lifting maneuvers and gestures activating lymphatic drainage, the complexion immediately gains radiance and the appearance of wrinkles is delayed. The last, finally, is an Anti Jet-lag treatment lasting about fifty minutes. A very soothing skincare ritual that gently activates lymphatic circulation to detoxify and rehydrate the epidermis. Freshness and radiance of the complexion guaranteed.

For you, what is the star product of this range?

The Unctuous Mask, for its extremely comfortable generous texture. Due to its ultra-fast absorption capacity by the skin, it is truly multi-purpose. In addition to a weekly application after exfoliation, I recommend using it after prolonged exposure to the sun for example, or even on the back of the hand, in a thick layer, to prevent or treat the first signs of aging.

The concentration of prickly pear oil in the Cactéa range is one of the highest on the international market. What can you tell us about the virtues of this oil?

The virtues of this oil are surprising! Thanks to its very high concentration of fatty acids and vitamins (especially E, which regenerates and soothes the tissues), it has quite an extraordinary antioxidant and revitalizing power. It is possibly one of the most effective natural anti-wrinkles in the world. But it is still very underestimated in cosmetics. Moreover, in my 20-year career, this is the first time that I have worked on a range that is entirely formulated around this oil.

The Nectar of precious oils is an oil serum, which is rather rare. How do you suggest using it?

Yes, it is a product rich in vitamin E and prickly pear which has the immense advantage of being non-greasy. As a result, the skin is deeply nourished and regenerated. On a daily basis, slip it under your usual care cream and voila! In addition, it leaves a feeling of satin comfort on the skin, a real treat.

Who would you recommend the Cactéa range to?

For all women concerned about the beauty of their epidermis, those who wish to gain radiance or who wish to improve the youthfulness of their skin. In this range, the textures are silky and provide great hydration. Cactéa offers a real experience, luxurious and efficient. Best is to try it...

Your favorite Moroccan cosmetic ingredient?

Argan oil! Because it has the ability to deeply regenerate the skin, because it is pure, organic and restores the tissues of the epidermis. It's not called Moroccan gold for nothing...

The marocMaroc brand product you can't do without?

There are many ! Miel d'Ambre is one of my favourites, because it is greedy, it smoothes the skin and reveals its radiance; this exfoliating paste is a real beautiful escape in Morocco.

What is the best fitness and wellness advice you have received?

That of my father: “The more you move your body, the stronger your mind! » .

And the one you give most frequently?

Beauty, well-being, is first of all to love yourself! Being connected to your body, being in the feeling is very important. Thanks to self-massage, for example, we have the ability to connect with our body, with our skin... An essential step to be better in our daily life. Nutrition and physical activity are also very important for a perfect and overall balance.
